Worum geht es in Beyond the Boundary?
Akihito Kanbara ist kein normaler Oberschüler: Zur Hälfte ist er eine unsterbliche Kreatur, genannt Yomu, und zur anderen Hälfte Mensch - mit einer Vorliebe für Brillenträgerinnen. Gerade als Akihito nichts ahnend über den Schulhof spaziert, kommt es zu einer schicksalhaften Begegnung. Er beobachtet, wie die junge Mirai Kuriyama in Begriff ist, sich vom Schuldach in den Tod zu stürzen. Gerade noch rechtzeitig kann er sie von ihrem Sprung abbringen. Doch anstatt sich zu bedanken, greift sie ihn mit einem Schwert an!
